Capabilities
The MEKO® A-100 Light Frigate offers exceptional stability and superior seakeeping with its 16-meter beam, elevated and enclosed forecastle, storm bow, and extended foreknuckle—featuring outstanding helicopter operability in its tonnage class.
Engineered for stealth, its specially shaped and screened upperworks reduce radar cross-section (RCS), while actively cooled exhaust systems and optimized hull lines deliver an impressively low acoustic signature.
With over 250 m² of modular deck space across the aft and midship mission areas, combined with a large transom stern, the frigate seamlessly accommodates up to five TEU-sized mission modules plus an 11-meter special boat—without compromising combat readiness or equipment capacity.
Featuring a large 25 by 15-meter flight deck, a spacious hangar, and unmatched stability, this platform enables safe, all-weather operations of a 10-ton class organic helicopter in Sea State 5 with absolute confidence.
